In this presentation, we will talk about how ZF and Altair developed a software solution for the optimization of modular motor platforms. Dr. Lars Fredriksson, Vice President of Global Automotive Business at Altair, will provide an overview of this unique solution, which enables designers to find the optimal all-in-one motor platform across various motor configurations, enabled by a model database and fully automated combinatorics. He will also explain how Altair eMotor Director’s advanced user interface leverages Altair HyperStudy to perform optimizations at large scale.
