To support EV charging systems and the many components used in electric vehicles, Toray has designed a series of polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) and polyamide (PA66) products with unique properties desirable for high voltage EV applications. These high-performance engineering materials exhibit a range of outstanding mechanical, thermal, electrical (DS, VR & CTI) and V0 flammability properties that are critical for EV application safety and performance. These products will perform over a wide range of conditions including high moisture and temperature without compromising physical and electrical insulation properties. These grades provide designers with many material solutions to safely design parts for EV applications.
