Croatian firm Rimac Automobili’s Concept_One EV will be on display at next week’s Top Marques Monaco, a trade show for the most luxurious of cars, boats and other billionaire supplies, hosted by Prince Albert himself. The “supercar event” takes place at the Grimaldi Forum in Monte Carlo, next to the Monaco Formula 1 circuit.
The Concept_One, which made its debut last September at the Frankfurt Motor Show, is surely one of the most powerful EVs yet built. It packs 1088 hp and 1.600 Nm of torque, and can do 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds. A 92kWh battery pack gives a top speed of 305 km/h and 600 km of range. The carbon-fiber body, high-tech electronics and even the Italian-designed Ultrac Vorti tires are all top-shelf.
Rimac will officially start taking deposits for the production version of the Concept_One at the Top Marques Monaco show. It plans to produce 88 units, with deliveries starting in 2013.
