Chemical company BASF and Volkswagen are seeking applications for the seventh annual Science Award Electrochemistry, an international competition that aims to highlight academic research into high-efficiency energy storage devices.
Scientists and engineers who have made a recent achievement in the following fields are encouraged to apply:
- Battery materials
- Cells
- Battery systems
- Production
- Operations
- Recycling
The first place finalist will receive €50,000 (about $55,650). Applications are due by June 30, 2019. Representatives from BASF, Volkswagen, and the scientific community will judge the applicants. Click here to learn more and apply.
