ADS-TEC unveils its new ChargePost battery-based charging system

ADS-TEC Energy, a manufacturer of battery-buffered energy systems, has unveiled a new battery-based charging system.

The new ChargePost is equipped with two DC fast charging points and two optional 75-inch monitors that can be used for advertising space. It’s aimed at gas stations, car dealerships, fleet operators, offices and commercial buildings.

ChargePost enables up to 300 kW charging capacity at one charging point or parallel fast charging for two EVs with 150 kW each. Later in 2023, ChargePost is slated to get additional capabilities, such as the ability to use energy from photovoltaic system, as well as bidirectional charging capabilities.

ChargePost is currently available in Europe, and will be offered in the US at a later date.
