Charge times are one of the biggest hurdles electric vehicle manufactures face when convincing consumers to make the jump from gas to electric transportation. Until now the practicality of waiting for the vehicle to charge was not nearly as appealing as fueling an ICE vehicle in a few short minutes. Phoenix Contact is breaking through that challenge by introducing their High Powered Charges (HPC). Featuring up to 500A of charging through a liquid cooled handle and significantly cutting time spent at the “electric pump”.
