However, concerns about grid stability arise as more people plug into Level 2 chargers at these buildings, leading to higher electricity consumption overnight.

These solutions dynamically adjust the energy being used by EV chargers based on a building's real-time energy consumption. In this session, Thomas Martin, Director of Business Development at SWTCH Energy will discuss how SWTCH’s software makes it more accessible and affordable to install and manage EV charging in both commercial and residential buildings. Drawing from numerous case studies from across North America, Thomas will illustrate how SWTCH has empowered property owners of new and existing buildings to employ energy management solutions to install up to ten times more chargers without costly infrastructure upgrades.
