The need for durable, highly reliable electronics plays a major role for all EV charging manufacturers. In this webinar, we will discuss areas of the manufacturing process that need to be considered for the electronics that are incorporated into these charging units. These units will need to withstand high voltage/current, coupled with extreme environmental changes and circumstances so that drivers can get to their destinations quickly and safely. Kimball Electronics has 60+ years of experience in building highly durable and high-quality electronics that work in tough environments for 10, 15, 20 and more years.

To build such electronics it is required to have solid quality system, controls, working with EV charger manufacturers on developing the products together and support them in design for manufacturability and industrialization. An important part of building highly reliable electronics is involvement from the initial design of the product through the initial manufacturing including:
