Big cities have lagged in EV adoption because of a classic chicken-and-egg problem. Without publicly available charging, people living in apartments who don't have home garages can't practically own an EV. And without a market of EV owners, charging developers can't justify the high costs to build in cities. Through a mix of private innovation and public policy, Revel has cracked that egg in New York City.

Join this session where Revel’s head of policy Jake Potent will talk about this year’s hockey-stick moment for EVs in NYC, driven by the surge of Uber and Lyft drivers going electric. Over 10,000 new rideshare EVs hit the road, spiking Revel’s charging utilization 10x. Revel is quadrupling its charging network over the next year, with confidence demand will be there. And other developers are taking notice that New York is finally on the table.
