If you want to learn about creating a mathematical model of a lithium-ion cell, then tune into this webinar featuring guest speaker Ralph White of the University of South Carolina.
This presentation will focus on the development of the equations used to produce a physics-based model of a lithium-ion cell that includes capacity fade due to the formation of the solid-electrolyte interface (SEI) and lithium metal plating on the anode.
You will get a demonstration of using the COMSOL Multiphysics® software to find a solution to these equations. A physics-based model of a lithium-ion cell with capacity fade will then be used to predict the capacity loss of a cell as a function of the number of charge and discharge cycles.
This webinar was hosted by Charged on June 6, 2019, and included a live demo in the software and a Q&A session.
