Fuji Electric brings DC quick charging to New Jersey

As Fuji Electric continues the expansion of its EV Charger business from overseas to the domestic market here in the US, they celebrated the official launch of their DC Quick Charger launch by hosting an EV Event at their Corporate Headquarters in Edison, NJ on March 14th.  With attendees from local utilities, installation and integration firms, governments and municipalities, and trade associations, the event marked the first unveiling of a DC Quick Charging Demo Unit in the NJ area.

“This event marked an important milestone for Fuji Electric, and for the EV industry as a whole,” said Phil Charatz, President and CEO of Fuji Electric America.  “As a manufacturer with nearly 90 years of experience in power electronics products, we are proud to contribute to the development of EV charging infrastructure in the US market, and look forward to being a part of the industry for many years to come.”

Fuji Electric will continue its launch activities at the upcoming EVS26 show in Los Angeles, CA, and in addition to showcasing their 25kW DC Quick Charger, they will feature products from their Power Supply and Semiconductor divisions, demonstrating their ability to provide a variety of solutions for the EV market.
