The presentation shows the concept of the EV fast charging station supplied from renewable energy sources based on AC drives. Two important features of AC drives will be presented: as a unidirectional EV battery charger and for powering electric motors.

Join this session, where we will discuss simulation and experimental results confirming the possibility of controlling the DC value of the EV battery charger based on an AC drive converter.
