Electrical isolation materials used in EV battery applications help protect against unwanted and potentially dangerous arcing. The insulation must be matched against electrical and mechanical requirements and should be able to be installed and bonded appropriately to provide effective insulation for the life of the vehicle.

Attend this session, presented by 3M's Dave Stankes, to learn more about electrical isolation solutions appropriate for your application.

Dave Stankes holds a BS in Pulp and Paper Engineering from Syracuse University/SUNY Environmental Science and Forestry. He served in a technical capacity in the specialty paper and nonwovens industry for over 30 years, specializing in the development and commercialization of high-temperature electrical and thermal barriers. Dave is a member of Underwriters Laboratories Standard Technical Panel for UL 1446 Electrical Insulation Systems and IEEE Transformer Committee (Working Group Chair) and IEC Technical Committees. He is also serving as US National Committee expert for TC112 and TC15 and USNC Deputy Technical Advisor for TC112.
